Have you ever wanted to get access to music production techniques from people working on commercial records?
We've seen sessions in education. Usually there are too many people in the class and not enough time to focus on anything meaningful. You often may not get an opportunity to focus on areas you want to explore.
We want to change that.
Session Recall @ Leeders Vale is a 3 day event with restricted numbers. We've done this to provide as much access to Nick and Jon as possible so we can help you on your craft and set foot into the inudstry. We are going to cover recording studio techniques, production approaches, working with clients, mixing and mastering, setting up for demos. The list of areas we can cover is endless.

About Leeders Vale Studio
We've been at Leeders Vale now since 2015 and it has been a temporary home to Max Rafferty (The Kooks), Public Service Broadcasting (PIAS Recordings), Gruff Rhys, Fischer-Z (BMG), The Amorettes, Buck and Evans and many many more bands. Producers to have worked here include Gil Norton, Luke Morley, Gethin Pearson, Josh Tyrrell and Richard Jackson. When Pretty Vicious released Cave Song, the recordings stirred up such a buzz that a bidding war emerged between labels to sign the band. When things didn't work out too well, the band returned for demos which got the band subsequently signed to Big Machine Records.
The studio is ideally suited to support smaller commercial sessions and we regularly use the studio as a tracking and overdubbing studio to help keep costs down for bands after tracking at a larger residential studio such as Rockfield Studios. All the rooms have been acoustically treated, we have a wide range of outboard and a Pro Tools HD system to facilitate any recording.
